Hi, dear readers! Hope you all have been well. I've been trying to get myself straight after I lost my job at the gas station. Interestingly, not long after that, I got invited to be a bridesmaid at a friend's wedding. As planning for that was happening, I ended up also added an extra leg to the trip. I would be visiting my friend Jaya for a few days before I go to the wedding.

And there was a bit of drama over whether and how I'd be able to make it. I was able to wrangle the money for the trip. Not long after that, I got asked to be the godmother for another friend's baby.

As I currently write, I am in Chicago, on a 12 hour layover. I have been awake since 3 yesterday afternoon. I'm going to try and post more, particularly during this trip.
