Day 5 - The Zocolo, in Mexico City. I spent 2 weeks in Mexico in summer of 2000. One week was mission work, bringing food and clothing to local folks on the ranchos and barrios. The next week was pure sightseeing, and the hotel we stayed at was the next block over, and we heard the music from the Zocolo square the whole time. It was absolutely gorgeous!
Day 6
Green Lantern, hands down. They are average folks, chosen to serve the peoples of the galaxy with one of the most powerful tools and weapons in all of existence. Their limits are their imaginations and their fears.
Day 7 - Without these people at the table who are all looking at the camera (including the one who isn't and the one who has only half a face) and others in this family, my life would not be even half as wonderful as it has been these past 4 years. They've helped keep me (just this side of) sane, and they mean the world to me. If I've been able to even express a fraction of my love for them, then I'm happy.
Day 8
1. At least get started fixing my linuxtop. It has a dead, and I'm too much of a tech-loving girl to just let that lie. I will learn the art of technecromancy.
2. Meet at least *ONE* new gorram local person *IN PERSON.* I've met a few folks online, and I'd like to change that. Actually make some new friends here in the Twin Cities.
3. Sign up at at least 2 temp agencies before TC Pride Weekend, which is in 2 weeks. And do at least a third before CONvergence, which is the weekend after that.
4. Attend both TC Pride and CONvergence.
